Bristol: arson attack
artdoc June=1991

A woman who suffered continual racial abuse and threats against
her family has had her council flat attacked by arsonists.
Halima Issa of Long Cross, Lawrence Weston, had her flat
burgled several times. In the most recent incident, she found
two burning mattresses propped against her front door.
According to Ms Issa, `They were trying to kill me because of
the colour of my skin. We have got to get away. I don't care
if we've got nowhere to go. It is not safe for us to stay here
anymore.' (Voice 12.2.91)
