Glasgow: racist campaign
artdoc June=1991

An elderly Asian woman is pleading with a Glasgow council to
re-house her and her son's family after facing years of racial
harassment from her neighbours.
Mrs Zient Taj has had racial abuse shouted at her and has
been attacked both on the street and outside her home. Her son
and his family, who moved in with her to protect her from
attack, have also been harassed. Concerned members of the
council housing association are lobbying to have Mrs Taj and
her family re-housed but the local council has not found her
any new housing yet. (Evening Times 31.1.91)
