Documents recently circulated with the Council of the EU on the proposals to expand Eurodac, for an Asylum and Migration Management Regulation, "emergency measures" for use at the Polish and Lithuanian borders with Belarus, and the latest European Commission update on "the main external migration dialogues and processes since 2019."

Eurodac

NOTE from: Presidency: Amended proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the
Council on the establishment of 'Eurodac' − Information from the Presidency (Council doc. 15002/21, 20 December 2021, LIMITE, pdf):

"Based on the above, the Presidency considers that the compromise represents a fair and
balanced approach taking into account views expressed by delegations. Modifications as
compared to the Commission proposal are indicated in bold and the deleted text is in […]."
