Wolverhampton man in gun attack
artdoc April=1992

Twenty-five-year-old Darrel Clarke may have to have a leg
amputated after being shot at by a man who hurled racial abuse
at him near Wolverhampton. It has been suggested that the man,
who has since been arrested, went berserk after he was allegedly
beaten by two youngsters, one black and one white, in a
completely separate incident. `He just picked on the first black
man he could find,' said Darrel's brother Ronald. (Voice 31.7.90)
