the Director of Public Prosecutions , and Crown Prosecutors; the
transfer of the prosecuting solicitors departments of the
police force to the Crown Prosecution Service ; costs in criminal
cases; time limits in preliminary proceedings, and restrictions
on vexatious prosecutions.
