Two white teenagers have gone on trial for the murder of an
Asian taxi driver in Peterborough. Mohammed Iqbal, 32, was
the second Asian cabbie to be murdered in Peterborough in
the past two years.
Mohammed Iqbal was found on 4 January slumped at the
wheel of his car. He had been stabbed in the heart. Two
teenagers were arrested within 24 hours of the discovery of
Mr Iqbal's body. (Eastern Eye 29.1.91)
