Notting Hill carnival murder
artdoc June=1991

The man whose evidence led to the conviction of Alban Turner
for the 1987 Notting Hill Carnival murder may face charges of
perjury and a jail sentence. The Crown Prosecution Service is
set to make a decision over whether Kevin Sarbutts will go to
trial after Lord Chief Justice Lane ruled that Sarbutts had
perjured himself. Alban Turner was freed from jail last March
after Sarbutts admitted that he had lied to the court. (Voice
