ECJ update: Title IV infringement actions

The Court on Thursday (14 Feb.) gave a judgment against Spain in Commission v Spain (Case C-58/07), re Directive 2003/110 (transit for expulsion).

On Wednesday (13 Feb.) the Commission withdrew two cases, both against Germany (C-216/07 and C-485/06).  These concern the same Directive and also Directive 2002/90 on facilitation of irregular migration.

This means there are NO Title IV infringement actions now pending - except for any which have been brought so recently that they are not listed on the Court's site yet.  In fact the last Commission update on infringement actions stated that the Commission had brought Greece before the ECJ as regards infringement of the Dublin II regulation.
