Legal establishment of the European Border Surveillance System (EUROSUR): Regulation 1052/2013

Quite some time after the European Border Surveillance System was put into use, legislation was approved to regulate its operations.

Regulation (EU) No 1052/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2013 establishing the European Border Surveillance System (Eurosur)

This Regulation was repealed following the adoption of the 2019 Frontex Regulation, which includes rules on the use and functioning of EUROSUR.
