A Bennite analysis of the political state of Britain which
is characterised by a decaying capitalist class fighting
back by withdrawing concessions to workers, and government
abuse of the police, security services and democratic
institutions of the country for narrow class ends. Calls
for greater efforts to mobilise the support of the Left's
natural constituency .
