terrorism with analyses of conceptual, political, economic and
data-collection problems surrounding the control of terrorism in
democratic societies over the last 25 years. The volume includes
a survey of terrorist trends in Europe since 1968 that
encompasses domestic incidents as well as the more commonly
measured international ones, and discussions of the more regional
approaches to counterterrorism, particulary within the EC, and
the problems surrounding international cooperation."
