UK: Injustice out on video

Injustice, the film that highlights the struggles for justice by families' of people who have been killed in police custody, has been released on video. The film was launched in 2001, but cinemas were pressured by the police not to show it. It was shown at "private" viewings, but even these were subject to harassment. Despite impressive reviews television companies in the UK have yet to show it. Last September the film won the important BFM (Black Filmaker Magazine) best documentary award.
