Swiss industrialists funded nazis in the `30s

Swiss diplomatic documents for 1936 and 1938, only recently
released, suggest that a Swiss party created along nazi lines was
almost entirely financed by Swiss industrialists from companies
which included many of the powerful Basle chemical companies and
Nestlé. The documents from the federal archives include an
appendix listing the party's patrons (Guardian 24.11.94).

Bomb attacks on refugee centres

In the space of ten days in October, there were three fire bomb
attacks on centres housing refugees in Bülach, near the Austrian
border. Only after the third attack did the police agree to an
investigation. (Le Courrier 17, 25.10.94).

Unexplained fire at hostel for the homeless

One man died, and a further two were injured, in Olten, after a
fire swept through a hostel for the homeless. The police have not
issued any information about the cause of the fire (12.12.94).
