The Swedish state police, Sapo, are to be investigated following allegations of their involvement in the murder of former prime minister, Olaf Palme. The allegations will be investigated by an all-party Parliamentary Commission in the new year. This is the third investigation into his murder, the previous ones being inconclusive. Palme was shot dead while walking in the street with his wife. His killer has not been caught.
