A refugee from Zaire (unnamed in the newspaper reports) is said
to have committed suicide in the Volkstedt prison near the town
of Eisleben in Sachsen-Anhalt on June 11th. A spokesperson for
the Sachsen-Anhalt Justice Department stated that the man's
suicide could be connected to the fact that he was due to be
deported to Zaire a few days later.
