Commentary on the provisions of the Public Order Act 1986 setting
it in context with the rest of the public order law. Includes
chapters on major new public order offences, processions and
assemblies, racial hatred, football hooliganism and aggravated
trespass, as well as the text of the Act. In particular one
chapter is largely concerned with the provisions of the Sporting
Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985 , which is aimed at the
prevention of football hooliganism and which has been extensively
amended by the 1986 Act.
