The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg has handed down a judgement finding the UK guilty of breaching Ronnie Easterbrook's rights regarding the procedure adopted in fixing the applicant's tariff, under Article 6.1 of the Convention - as there was a delay of 9 years causing the applicant to suffer feelings of frustration, uncertainty and anxiety. Ronnie - who represented himself - was awarded 2,200 euros for non-pecuniary damages and 5,800 euros costs. Miscarriages of Justice UK 17.6.03.
