Netherlands: Schipol airport
artdoc August=1994

Passengers arriving at Schipol Airport will in the near future
be welcomed to Holland by Labrador-Retriever dogs sniffing at
their clothes and luggage. The dogs are trained not to bark or
jump, but to sit down if they smell drugs. The measure is one of
a range to beef up border controls at the airports and harbours.
Computer luggage-tracking databases and mobile X-ray scanning
equipment are also part of the Customs upgrading campaign.

Our work is only possible with your support.
