Detailed analysis of a court case in which an antique dealer
was charged with receiving stolen goods after police had
carried out telephone tapping of his telephones. The case was
taken to the European Commission on Human Rights who
found that United Kingdom systems of telephone tapping and
use of telephone metering information violate the
European Convention on Human Rights.
