Defence outlines the `exciting' possibilities for the UK and EC defences
industries, which is being co-ordinated by the Independent European Programme
Group (IEPG) Ministers. The article discusses the `harmonisation' of the EC
defence industries and the need for export sales out of Europe and NATO to the
Third World to compensate for cuts in arms sales in the home countries.
