The Ligue des Droits d'Homme have published a dossier containing numerous examples of abusive and racist implementation of immigration laws which, it says, is endangering the principles which have governed the Republic for two centuries. One example cited was the summary deportation of a pregnant Mauritian woman who was told to report to the police following her marriage to a French national and was put on a plane to Mauritius the same evening. She suffered a miscarriage as a result.
