This article claims that civil liberties have been under
continued attack by the present government, and demonstrates this
by tabulating 41 examples of erosion of civil liberties. Argues
that the government has concentrated on five specific areas: the
media, Northern Ireland, gagging public employees, increasing
police powers, immigration.
