"According to recent reports in many newspapers, the Austrian and German Governments intend to request the temporary suspension of the Schengen Area in order to combat illegal immigration. In addition, the Austrian Government is reported to have requested the closure of its country’s border with Italy in order to prevent the entry of refugees from third countries."
