Postscript to the decision of the new code of access to documents in the EU - "Call for an Open Europe" to continue indefinitely

In the wake of the vote in the European Parliament to accept the "deal" offered by the Council (the 15 EU governments) the institutions put out the official line on the new code as did the rapporteurs in the parliament.

The "Call for an Open Europe" which is open, democratic and accountable, launched by Statewatch and the European Federation of Journalists, is to remain open indefinitely:
