Treat donations as Gift Aid?

Become a Friend of Statewatch by making a regular monthly donation of just 5 a month or more. As a Friend of Statewatch you will receive copies of all Statewatch publications including the quarterly Journal.

If you are a UK taxpayer, Statewatch can claim an additional 28 pence on every pound you give through the UK Gift Aid scheme. A monthly donation of 10, for example, means Statewatch receives 153.60 year.

Subscription options

The Statewatch Journal was launched in 1991 and is now in its 23rd year of publication. It is published quarterly and includes articles, reviews and research sources analysing policies and practices adopted by European national governments and EU institutions and their implications for civil liberties. Contributors include lawyers, academics, journalists, researchers and community activists from countries across Europe.

The Journal is available for free online but you can support our work by taking out a subscription to the print copy.

Standing orders and donations by cheque

You can also become a Friend of Statewatch or subscribe to the Journal by setting up a standing order with your bank (our details are below), by sending us a cheque, or by filling in our standing order mandate (UK only) and sending it to us.
