  • Draft Naples Conventions based on the consideration that "a serious threat to public health, morality and security is constituted by the developing trend towards illicit trafficking of all kinds" and that "it is necessary to reinforce cooperation between customs administrations, by laying down procedures under which customs administrations may act jointly and exchange personal and other data concerned with illicit trafficking activities, using new technology for the management and transmission of such information."

  • Following the exchange of letters on police cooperation between the EU and Interpol (see 5236/97), this document lists the Police Cooperation Working Party on the areas where cooperation should be stressed i.e. fingerprinting, DNA and missing persons/unidentified corpses.

  • This document reviews the work of the CIREFI (Centre for Information, Discussion and Exchange on Immigration) which was created in 1992. CIREFI aims to exchange information on border-crossing and  "authorised" and "unlawful" immigration in the view of facililating coordination of Member States' immigration policies.
