Why do we need your support?

Like all small charities, the more regular individual donors we have, the more independent we are, helping us to focus on our core work and reduce reliance on ad-hoc project and grant funding.

Your ongoing support will enable Statewatch to maintain and extend its free of charge coverage to:

• Our daily news service – over 2,000 stories published annually with extensive documentation (including dozens of secret EU documents)
• Our regular updates on the situation for refugees and migrants in the Mediterranean and Europe – now ongoing since January 2015
• Run three databases with all our coverage and documentation
• Produce critical research and high-quality investigative journalism into the ongoing attacks on liberties and democracy
• Serve over 10,000 email subscribers and over 7,500 Twitter followers
• Improve and extend our web presence: we receive over 1,000,000 “hits” and over 20,000 seperate pdf documents are downloaded a month

You can also donate or become a Friend of Statewatch by setting up a standing order with your bank by filling in our standing order mandate (UK only) and sending it to us.

If you are a UK taxpayer, Statewatch can use the UK Gift Aid Scheme to claim an additional 25 pence on every pound you donate. A monthly donation of £10, for example, means Statewatch receives £148 per year.
