| Court of Justice | Twelve of the ‘old’ Member States to ratify the Convention (all except UK, Greece and France) have given jurisdiction to the Court; ten of them give jurisdiction to all national courts or tribunals to send references (Ireland and Spain allow only final courts to refer); eight of the new Member States have given jurisdiction to the Court (Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary and the Czech Republic allow all courts and tribunals to refer; Slovenia, Slovakia and Latvia allow final courts to refer); Poland will make a declaration regarding the Court’s jurisdiction later |
